The US manufacturer Proterra has presented its latest battery-electric bus, the ZX5 . It is available in two lengths with10.7 meters and 12.2 meters with 29 and 40 seats. The larger model can be equipped with battery capacities of up to  660 kWh, which should enable a maximum range of 526 kilometres .The smaller version can be equipped with battery capacities of up to 440 kWh. Norwegian Electric Systems (NES) completed the delivery of five all-electric propulsion systems for ferries operated by Norwegian transport company Fjord1 . These e-ferries each have a capacity for 50 cars and are used at four different ferry crossings along the west coast of Norway.
