Skoda's first electric city car - Skoda CITIGO-e iV


Skoda presented its first electric model in history, Skoda CITIGO-e iV, on Thursday at the IIHF world ice hockey championship in Bratislava. The start of mass production of the new electric car model, which is positioned as a compact city car, is scheduled for the second half of 2019.

At the moment, the price tag of Citigo-e iV remains unknown, at the same time, representatives of Skoda have already promised that the cost of the model will be "significantly lower than 20 thousand euros."

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the power of the Skoda Citigo-e iV engine will be 61 kW (210 Nm of maximum torque), which corresponds to about 83 hp.

Skoda CITIGO-e iV takes 12.5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h, while acceleration from 60 to 100 km / h takes 7.6 seconds. The maximum speed is 130 km / h.
