France: New E-Bus line between Bayonne and Biarritz


Keolis, the public transport operator has put into operation in the far southwest of France, an electric bus line with ten electric articulated buses. The twelve-kilometer line with 30 stations connects Bayonne with Biarritz.

A second e-bus line, which connects Bayonne with Tarnos, will be inaugurated in the coming year with eight other electric busses. Keolis already has experience with the articulated buses of the Spanish manufacturer, Irizar. On May 2019, the public transport operator had already integrated 43 E-buses from Irizar in the northern French city of Amiens into its fleet.
