Toyota RAV4 Prime plug-in hybrid a new 300hp monster

Called RAV4 Prime in the United States, this plug-in hybrid model is much more muscular than the simple hybrid version. Toyota presents the Toyota RAV4 Prime at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

Without being exhaustive, the brand has given some technical information. We learn that this trendy version will resume the four-cylinder 2.5 petrol used on the classic hybrid version but with a much more muscular electric part.

 In total, Toyota RAV4 Prime will have 306 horsepower and an acceleration from 0 to 96 km / h in 5.8 seconds. Compared to the 222 horses offered by the simple hybrid version, the gain is important and should rank this Prime version among the most expensive models in the range.

In terms of consumption, the manufacturer announces 6.0 l / 100 km according to the US EPA cycle.
