Toyota released the first pictures with the true hot hatch from the Yaris range. 

The new Toyota GR Yaris is as serious as possible in terms of performance. Developed by the Gazoo Racing division, with the help of Tommi Makinen Racing, GR Yaris prides itself on 261 horsepower and 360 Newton-meters, taken from a 1.6-liter three-cylinder in-line engine.

The connection between the engine and wheels is made through a six-speed manual transmission, and power resources are intelligently distributed to all four wheels through the GR-Four all-wheel drive system. The torque distribution on the decks is adaptable: in Normal mode, the ratio is 60:40; in Sport mode, it changes in 30:70. And in Track running mode, the distribution of resources on decks is 50:50.
