Tianmei Automobile's first fully electric SUV: Skywell ET5

The company, which also produces electric buses, began operations in 2019. Her first passenger model called ET5 will enter the market in the second half of this year. According to a Skywell press release, E stands for "Battery Electric Vehicle" and T stands for "Technology". The manufacturer, Tianmei Automobile, will number the models based on body types and sizes. Even numbers (2, 4, 6 and 8) are already reserved for sedans and odd numbers (1, 3, 5 and 7) for SUVs. Therefore, "ET5" is positioned as a mid-size SUV.

The total length of the ET5 is 4.7 m, the wheelbase is 2.8 m. The cruising range calculated as part of the NEDC European driving cycle reaches 500 km.
